vox populi small thumbnail 'With the motion to cite Nazri for contempt of court, I would like to see if the coroner has the guts to do it, because it is obvious the minister has gone over the limit.'

Teoh inquest: Karpal calls Nazri 'kurang ajar'

M Suresh Kumar: This is where our ministers are so much more emotional, rather than being rational, in administering their jobs as compared to our neighbour, Singapore. It is a shame for a minister to label a renowned professional a "liar" without the proper facts.

You are putting our country down, Minister Nazri Aziz. Where is the promise to "get to the bottom" of Teoh Beng Hock's cause of death? As an elected representative of the people, you should be doing your job without fear or favour.

Tell The Truth: With the motion to cite Nazri for contempt of court, I would like to see if the coroner has the guts to do it, because it is obvious the minister has gone over the limit. Under case law, he is guilty. Wouldn't it be fun if he is jailed and another by-election takes place?

Doc: Being a lawyer by trade, the way Nazri acts and behaves make one think that either he has no disregard for the law, or has no idea what law procedures are. The other explanation is that he assumes that being in Umno, he is above the law.

MorningSun: Nazri is sincere, he should help Pornthip and give her the guarantee of safety to clear her worries instead of claiming her to be a liar. If Nazri had done that and Pornthip still refuses to come to testify, the whole world will know who is right and who is wrong.

Cala: Nazri's senseless utterances are inexcusable. As a minister of law, he is supposed to be a symbol of fairness and righteousness, is he not?

When Teoh Beng Hock was found dead under mysterious circumstances, Nazri, as a law minister of the people, should have been remorseful about the loss of a life, the sufferings of TBH's wife, and a child who has no father upon his birth.

Teoh was found dead in the custody of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, a branch of the executive with extraordinary power. Taking a stand against public interest by calling Pornthip a liar shows that he is immature and heartless. Is he fit to be a minister?

Louis: Nazri must be taught how to speak in a civil manner. I am ashamed that he is a minister.

Snap officially joins Pakatan Rakyat

Myop101: The Pakatan Rakyat leadership should include Snap in their leaders council where all four parties share equal powers in all decision-making. We don't need another Umno in BN scenario by having PKR, DAP and PAS dominating other parties within Pakatan.

Also, try limiting the Pakatan membership to seven parties (to register under Registrar of Societies requires a minimum of seven and admit parties like PSM and SAPP (Sabah representative) for ease of decision-making.

Anyway, congratulations to Snap for rejecting BN's divisive politics and joining Pakatan to free Malaysia.

Justice Bao: As the tide turns, the haze at Putrajaya becomes clearer. There could be hope for this country. We have to get rid of the lanuns (pirates). Hunt them down if we can. Top on the least is Daim Zainuddin.

Rayfire: Let us hope with their participation, Pakatan will become stronger nationwide. This may be a good start for Sarawakians. Hope that the Sabahans will follow suit.

Ferdude: Pakatan, don't worry about one leaving. Welcome the thousands willing to join hands with us for democracy's sake.

Arul Inthirarajah: This could be one of those pieces of news that you do not see in the BN-controlled mainstream media.

Al: PKR lost a surgeon but Pakatan gained a party.

PKR Tg Malim Wanita leader quits, party unperturbed

Chee Hoe Siew: Before anyone starts chanting "good riddance, it is better that she leaves", has anyone actually noticed that PKR is collapsing? Wake up and smell the coffee!

The way things are going, PKR will only be left with an empty box. As long as PKR does not address the concerns of its members, it is never going to stop the production of frogs.

Cal: Soraya Sulaiman may be lightweight, but what concerns me is why all the defections of late from Pakatan. Is it because they are not properly indoctrinated? Or do they lack political conviction to stay on course? Why is it that this kind of problem does not inflict DAP?

Ong Guan Sin: The cleansing process has, for whatever reasons, started much faster and smoother than expected. By the time of general election 13, PKR and Pakatanwill only have reliable people to be trusted with the future of Malaysia.

Good riddance. I'm just sorry that Hulu Selangor has to go down in history as the cleansing station of PKR.

Bung Moktar pleads guilty to unauthorised polygamy

R Venugopal: Our politicians have no respect for the law and how could you represent the people if you do not have integrity. To be a good politician, you must have integrity which is a norm in all other countries.

It is only in the Bolehland that you are accepted as a politician for being a person of low integrity. One Malaysia should take drastic actions on this type of people who lie and do things violating the syariah rules. Umno should not condone such leaders.

Artchan: I saw the news on TV yesterday and both Bung and his illegal wife treated the whole thing as a joke and both were grinning away.

Chipmunk: So much for the BN Hall of Fame. So BN, why no action taken against Bung Moktar? Isn't that a sin too?
