37 held, 215 reports lodged during by-election: police
Throughout the Hulu Selangor by-election, police received 215 reports while 37 people were arrested, Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said today.
The 37 detained, aged between 20 and 40, included three women, but were later released on police bail, he said.

Police would however, continue with investigations, Khalid added.
He said that despite minor incidents, the by-election and polling today went on smoothly.
"We were prepared for an eventualities since this is not the first
by-election for us. Credit must also be given to supporters from both sides because they gave their cooperation to the police," he said.
