The ceiling of a Penang state assembly observation office was damaged while work was done on wiring for the direct television transmission.

"The damage was due to two flexible hoses overloaded the air-conditioned system that rotated to the RONDO ceiling system and caused all the plasterboards to fall," he told reporters here today.

He said the works to repair the ceiling will be done today.
