'Samy Vellu not so easy to dislodge'

your say 'This is MIC business and should be resolved by the members. Do you really need Umno and the PM to intervene in MIC internal problems?'

MIC rebels: 'PM must step in'

KayKay: Samy Vellu will not step down as MIC president even if Najib's father and grandfather wake up from their graves and try to frighten him into doing so. Those who make such demands are naive.

Najib, like Mahathir and the others, live in terror of Samy Vellu because the man knows a lot and would not hesitate to pull down everybody with him if Umno tries to sacrifice him to the wolves.

What guarantee is there that Samy Vellu, his son Vell Paari, will not be prosecuted and locked up for the litany of white collar crimes that they have committed at the helm of MIC and its related bodies?

Samy Vellu is by no means convinced that MIC deputy-president G Palanivel will protect him and his so-called "legacy", that is, not smear his name in public. In that case, he will be looking for a new deputy soon. This will provide him with the excuse to further delay his exit as MIC president. The white-haired ‘devil', Abdul Taib Mahmud, faces the same problem in Sarawak.

Indhumathi: Umno will not stoop too low to oust Samy Vellu. The recent attempts by a small splinter group may turn futile as Samy is an old fox with many tricks. He will use anyone to remain in power.

Come September 2011 Samy may come up with new tricks. And thereafter, he will continue perhaps till death. Power is his heart beat thus only an act of God can remove him from the MIC presidency.

Gandhi: Finally, an excellent chance to force the fossil S Samy Vellu out of MIC. The three heroes must apply pressure and spill all the wrongdoings of the tyrant Samy so that Indians will forever be anti- MIC and all MIC candidates are sure to be wiped out in the 13 th general election.

Samy has messed his image for good this time, and people are just waiting for the minute he exits to celebrate. It's puzzling how he can appoint his son Vell Paari in CWC, and all the ‘slaves' of Samy just accept it without any resentment.

This clearly shows the whole world how Samy has been running the MIC as his personal business. Samy is already on the edge of the cliff and MIC officials have just got to just push him and the whole annoying 30 years come to a good end.

Ur kidding: It's sad to see MIC members can't solve their own problems. Najib Abdul Razak is PM, not MIC president. Learn how to clean your own backyard. That is why Najib ignores you guys.

TPN: Finally they got up from their sleep. What took these guys so long to realise that S Samy Vellu has not done much for the Indian community?

R Venugopal: This is MIC business and should be resolved by the members. Do you really need Umno and the PM to intervene in MIC internal problems? What a shame for the three clowns to make use of Umno. If you are that powerful or popular, go and energise the support for an EGM to remove anyone you like.

Lvbala Madayen: Why now? Because they let you down after the Hulu Selangor ‘buy-election'? So, you are jumping the gun and trying to tell the whole world you're the hero? Let Samy Vellu stay for another term, or until the next general elections. This will give Pakatan Rakyat more points. By then, all Indians will be in the Pakatan ship.

Man: These guys act like small kid. Why would Najib need to intervene in MIC's internal problems? If you want to sack Samy Vellu, call for an emergency general meeting like MCA. If not, you get more support then ask the entire MIC's central working committee to resign. Let MIC members decide their own internal problem.

Vettaikaran: This is the right time for our three heroes to go all over Malaysia to get support. Organise ceramahs and prepare pamphlets. Samy is full of corruption, cronies, nepotism, etc.

Nobody else dares to open their mouth because everybody's scared that they will be kicked out. Since you three were kicked out, you have the licence to reveal Samy's wrongdoings and those of his gang.

Temenggong: What a bunch of jokers. Umno has always undermined Samy and MIC, as well as the other BN parties. That Samy handled it well is a credit to him.

DOC: After Samy smacked these fellows for being naughty boys, it looks like they have gone crying to Najib to complain for being ill-treated.

Allinthegame: MIC is just another pathetic partner in the BN coalition. MIC has done nothing for the Indians but the Indians still want to support this party. Samy Vellu has his faults. But it is Umno racist policies that has caused the Indians to become so backward.

Whether Samy Velu is MIC president or not is irrelevant. Indians will still continue to be backward because of Umno. Whoever who heads MIC - be it G Palanivel or S Subramaniam - they will just be Umno's ‘mandores'.

Indians should take the bold step and reject BN once and for all. Reject suppression and marginalisation - reject Umno/BN/MIC.

Smike27: Why call an outsider to meddle in your party? Umno has got its own problem which it can't solve. Until today, they're wondering how they lost the Sibu ‘buy-election' and now MIC is giving them another headache.

I've got a solution - dissolve MIC and join Pakatan. Please don't tell that Najib has done a lot for the Indians. He has done nothing. All he only do is bribe them when there is a by-election.

Shah Dali Silverman: Frankly, this is what Umno wants. But the sandiwara isn't cooked enough, we will see more chaos, and then Najib will come in and checkmate the rest.
