Swipenter: YB Mike (S Manikavasagam) would certainly be using MACC (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) to justify him not giving facts and proof about existing corruption in KSSB (Kuala Sementa Sdn Bhd) to Selcat or he has actually nothing to show but blowing hot air to advance his own personal agenda. Maybe he is gunning to be a RM2 million ringgit man and a one-term MP.

Artchan: Like what Selcat chairperson Teng Chang Khim said, this is a serious proceeding. If you have any info about the corruption, bring it out. There are two Umno representatives sitting on the panel. Are you saying Umno is helping PKR cover up the scandal?

Don't just accuse the panel of a cover-up. A lot of allegations have been made but when given the forum to talk, nothing was shown.

Ichigo: YB Mike, thus far, you have failed to show the evidence of corruption you claimed to be in your possession and now you are shouting cover up. Selcat is open to public scrutiny with even opposition (Umno) assemblymen in the panelist, how to cover up?

From Teng's statement, you did not provide a written statement of the witness as required, why can't you follow a simple procedure? If the witness needs to be anonymous and be met at a secret place, then write it down for the committee's consideration.

Wira: YB Mike is most disappointing. I'd expected revelations of corruption but what we got was only tales of mismanagement. No doubt, KSSB should tighten its management. However YB, please be precise with your accusations. If you want to complain about mismanagement, say and do so. Don't call it corruption if it is not.

Geronimo: So, Mike, what are you going to do next? Abide with the decision of Selcat or resign as MP or continue to raise hell within the party or report the matter to MACC? The options are opened to you, but for heaven's sake, do it in a dignified manner and not like some Tamil film gangster.

ONG: Mike wants to turn Selcat ( Selangor Select Committee on Competency, Accountability and Transparency) into a coffee shop.

He shows a lot of respect for MACC but very little for his Pakatan Rakyat coalition colleagues. With Selcat, he behaves either like a taxi driver or a ‘pasar malam' trader but dare not behave the same way in Parliament with a BN speaker.

MW: Initially, I was one of those who applaud Mike for his crusade in exposing corruption. But his conduct today, live over the Internet and his previous flip-flop about testifying in something he initiated, quoting MACC, plus the little evidence he produced, make him a drama queen starved of attention.

I now think he's just like Zulkifli Nordin, looking for excuses to justify quitting PKR. The common thing about all these attention-seeking MPs are they are all first-time MPs, with no track record to speak off and they will remain one-term ‘heroes'.

Sure, BN might have a use for them right now but come next election, they will be in no-man's land - too hot to touch by any party.

Sang Rimau: This clearly proves MP Manikavasagam has never been involved in proceedings or inquiries of established entities. In domestic inquiries and courts, written statements are normally provided, hence similar to Selcat. Manikavasagam thinks Selcat is his grandfather's ‘punya'. Frankly, he is not qualified to be an MP.

X-Umno: Mike, just follow the procedure. Selcat is like a court. You need to provide written documentation not a mere anonymous letter. On previous occasions, you said you have proof of corruption, show us the proof.

Ksn: This Mike is behaving like a juvenile. He wants publicity but he does not know the issue, the time and the opportunity for it. This is the type of people PKR should get rid of as quickly as possible. There are plenty of good men and women around.

‘Boys' like this guy should never be in PKR. He is more suitable for BN. Since he cannot join Umno, he should join MIC. He will be with similar herd there.

Malaysian: Well, the show is over. It seems that the company's directors allocated lots of bonuses to themselves. I have some questions: How were they chosen, and how did they manage to get the sand-mining monopoly? Can anyone point me to the information?

Patriot: Mismanagement also means to manage dishonestly. It can also mean to take the company's money that does not belong to you or to compromise on company's position or act against procedures for kickbacks in return.

Thousands rally against Israel

Ferdtan: I am for peaceful demonstrations but one curious ambiguity is that the police actually allowed such a march even though it was lead by opposition leaders. I am sure no police permit had been applied and following from past experience, the police would surely disallowed it.

Have the police gone soft and will now allow future peaceful demonstration of this kind? In the past, police were brutal with the candlelight vigil participants even though they were not marching.

Knowing the police well, we can gather that the ‘cause' (of the demonstration, in this case, anti-Israel) determines its legality.
