NONE The Perak government has undertaken several approaches to ensure meeting its target of eradicating poverty in the state by 2015, said Menteri Besar Zambry Abdul Kadir ( right ).

"We will ensure that poverty eradication is top priority, where we will also determine how many households are really poor as poverty is relative," he told reporters after visiting a house built by Yayasan Bina Upaya (YBU), at Teluk Intan today.

He said more houses costing between RM5,000 and RM25,000 would be built for poor families under the YBU programme so as to provide more comfortable living for this group in society.

Zambry said he would be going to the ground to personally see how he could help poor families who needed better living conditions and with their children's education.
