PKR denies that the party has gone through a major reshuffle of key posts, including the secretary-general, said its information chief Latheefa Koya.

"PKR would like to make it clear that Saifuddin Nasution remains as the secretary-general of the party," she said, referring to a news report which appeared on Monday.

Former health minister Chua Jui Meng, a PKR supreme council member, was also reportedly involved in the reshuffle but his position is unclear at the moment.

The change in PKR's national line-up was allegedly made after the party was affected by recent defections.

In her statement today, Latheefa said there was no need to rely on information from unnamed third parties regarding the party's matters.

"Party leaders are always available for clarification and confirmation about any changes in the party," she said.
