A guard at Istana Mahkota, Kubang Kerian in Kota Bharu has lodged a police report against the Kelantan sultan's second wife, Elia Suhana Ahmad, claiming that she had created a ruckus in the

palace compound in her attempt to visit her husband last May 23.

Muhamad Khairul Abdullah, 24, claimed that Elia Suhana, 31, created an incident at the palace ground when informed that the Kelantan sultan, Tuanku Ismail Petra, did not wish to see her.

"The report was lodged at the Kubang Kerian police station at 8.08pm last Thursday," he told reporters here today.

He also claimed that Elia Suhana was accompanied by several policemen and state government officials when she went to the palace.

On Feb 4, Elia Suhana obtained permission from the Syariah High Court to visit the sultan from Saturday until the morning of Monday, every week, but her efforts to meet her husband failed.

On May 20, the Syariah Appeals Court allowed Elia Suhana to visit the sultan as provided for by the Syariah High Court on Feb 4.

On May 23, she went to Istana Mahkota to see the ruler, but was again denied entry.
