The federal government has set up a special team to oversee delay in Federal projects carried out in Kelantan said Kelantan Federal Action Council chairperson Mustapa Mohamed.

Mustapa said the special team was formed after identifying a number of projects that were delayed.

"We have identified six projects that have been delayed in Kelantan.

"Among those identified are the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Politeknik Jeli, Jalan Simpang Pulai - Lojing - Gua Musang, Jalan Jeli - Jelawang, Jalan Pasir Puteh - Tok Bali and the Sultan Yahya Petra Second Bridge," he told reporters here today after meeting Kelantan Health Department staff in Kota Baharu today.

He added that the government would ensure that all such projects are completed before the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP).

Mustapa, who is also International Trade and Industry Minister, said he had also briefed Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak of the delay on June 16.
