Umno Youth was the target of another round of attack from Keadilan today for what it claimed to be a "seditious" remark posted on the wing's website recently calling on the government to close all Chinese schools in the country.

Keadilan Youth vice chairperson Low Chee Cheung said the remark made by Umno Youth Education bureau chief Dr Adham Baba in response to the opposition from two Chinese education movements on the language switch was "racist and extremist".

Low said Umno Youth simply refused to understand why the two Chinese movements opposed the move but instead preferred to play "racial politics".

"This was the tactics of Umno Youth of the 1960s, they have not changed for the better. All they want to do is scare the Chinese educationists or pressure them to give in to government policies, even bad ones," he told malaysiakini .
