Remove Anwar as S'gor economic advisor: Umno

Suara Rakyat: Noh Omar (Selangor Umno deputy chief ), you and your Umno machinery should prove Anwar Ibrahim is a CIA stooge first before you start throwing accusations. Why should Anwar prove to you he is not a CIA tool based on some garbage you read from a blogger?

As a minister, your outbursts are totally unbecoming of a statesman. Anwar is the opposition leader in Parliament. Why don't you debate this there since you talk so much about national security instead of asking a non-BN government in Selangor to act on this.

Isana: This is the quality of Umno's ministers in Najib Razak's cabinet, and this is their sense of justice: once a person is accused, then the accused must show proof that he is innocent. If not, then he is guilty. This is typical Umno's understanding and interpretation of the law.

Ng Seng Tong: "We are not willing to let our country destroyed by a foreign power," said Noh. Sure, but we are not willing to let our country destroyed by BN, too.

It doesn't take a foreign power to destroy a country. All it takes is people who are entrusted to manage and lead the country do not have the welfare of the people in mind. Most countries are destroyed because members of legislative, executive and judiciary employ an attitude of "serve me" instead of "service". Noh, it's all about internal decadence, not external influence.

Abil: Should not Najib be removed as PM until he proves that he is not involved in the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu? There should be one rule for 1Malaysia.

Wira: A man is innocent until proven guilty. To accuse Anwar a CIA tool, Selangor Umno must prove that Anwar is guilty. It is not for Anwar to prove that he is not guilty.

Aramsa: I can't think of anything that DSAI (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) will do to destroy this country. But I can think of many reasons that Umnoputras will destroy this country.

Anonymous: Noh, don't simply accuse someone of being a CIA agent unless you have proof. Why should Anwar prove to you? It's you who accused him, so it's you who has to show proof. Please don't waste our time. Clean your own house before accusing others.

Teoh Kheng Siong: This case should be taken seriously, since Anwar is pro-West, and Western countries seem to offer lots of protection to Anwar. There's a saying that there is no free lunch in this world. Westerners won't give support and aid if there weren't something behind it.

Following the 1997 financial crisis, Anwar suggested we borrow from the IMF (International Monetary Fund). I guess he knew the consequences, but yet he insisted we take up IMF's offer of a loan. As we all know, the IMF is the ‘Ah Long' of the world set up by US. Why would Anwar want the country to borrow from an international Ah Long?

Besides this, both Australia and the US help Anwar a lot. I dare not to say he is an agent, but surely there is a link.

We must learn the lessons of history. Remember how the British took over? Don't let the same thing happen again. Our forefathers spent a lot of time and effort to gain our independence. We don't want to become slaves of the Westerners again.

Removing him is the right move, since Anwar already shows he has a lot of connections with Westerners. I wouldn't be surprised if Anwar was a puppet of the US to help them gain the resources of our country, especially our oil reserves.

Cks: Saying the US backed Anwar for PM to get at our petroleum is sheer rubbish. How much petroleum reserve do you think Malaysia has? It is chicken feed in the US context and may not even last 10 years with all the accelerated pumping to prop up our economy.

Fed-UP: Do you all honestly and sincerely believe that the CIA has that much interest to (for the lack of a better word) destroy Malaysia. With all due respects to CIA, I think they have better things to do. They may not even know where Malaysia is.

Just because one miserable person wrote something in her blog about Anwar and the CIA, without any investigation they expect us to believe in it? Got no brain, ah?

Chee Hoe Siew: They are throwing out these allegation based on a blog? If information from blogs are of such credibility, why then did they did not act on Najib based on Raja Petra Kamarudin's blog? I can sense that Umno is desperately trying to unseat Anwar by any means possible, even from unverified sources.

Ferd Tan: Anwar has been branded as a CIA spy, now that's changed to ‘a tool of CIA'; he's also an anti-Malay traitor as he gets support from the non-Malays; he's pro-Indian because in the last Ijok by-election, he danced to a Bollywood tune; he's pro-Jew as he has Jewish friends; and now he's anti-Jew as he led demonstrations against Zionism.

Recently, Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said the US was not happy with Anwar as he is anti-Zionist and is losing support with his US friends. Unlike Anwar, Najib is getting 'warmer' with the US leaders. So which is correct?

'Anwar-CIA': Rais Yatim should apologise

Jacob George: It is time PM Najib remove those who are undermining his efforts. Their identities and the quick stupidity of which they speak are certainly not a secret.

Mr Huang: Now that John R Malott, the former US ambassador, has come out with a strong response to the report and statement by the information minister about Anwar being a CIA agent, what should Rais Yatim now do? The least that he ought to do is to apologise to Anwar and to the US government.

The ex-US ambassador has denied the story spun by the newspaper and the minister. So, the ball is in the minister's court. What is the PM going to do about this loose cannon?

What A Blind Fool: I have read Elaine Meinel Supkis's blog and come to the conclusion that she is a total nut case. Since Rais believes in everything she says, he must surely be worse than her.
