Umno will kick off its “Save Selangor” roadshow - comprising of a 19-stop ceramah series - tomorrow in a bid to expose the alleged wrongdoings of the Pakatan Rakyat state government.

“The roadshow aims to explain the many lies by the state government towards the people,” said Umno deputy liaison chief Noh Omar today, according to Bernama.

“Through this programs, we can communicate directly with the people of Selangor on issues such as the illegal sand-mining controversy and issues involving state economic advisor Anwar Ibrahim.”

Noh said that phase one of the roadshow will give the people of Selangor a better picture on the alleged malpractice of the state administration, state-owned companies and moral issues concerning Pakatan leaders.

In a related development, state Umno information chief Abdul Syukor Idrus said the inaugural ceramah will be held in Shah Alam and Kota Raja simultaneously tomorrow.

These two Parliamentary seats are both held by Pakatan.

“Both ceramah would start at 8.30pm,” said Abdul Syukor, adding that the locations will be announced later.

Other than Noh, other speakers planned for the weekend include state Umno secretary Satim Diman, former PKR Youth chief Ezam Mohd Nor and former PKR Youth leader Zahid Mat Arip.

“We will take turns to speak every week,” said Abdul Syukor, who is also Kuang state assemblyperson.

On Saturday, similar events will be held in Kuala Langat and Klang. The following day, in Kapar and Kuala Selangor.
