As investigations continue into the death of former Selangor assemblyman Abdul Aziz Mohd Noh and Tanjung Karang Wanita Umno vice-chief Siti Rohana Ismat, police have not ruled out the probability that one of them had shot the other.

NONE Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar ( left ) said initial investigations showed that the shots were fired from inside the car they were travelling in and that there was no other person in the vehicle at that time.

He said police also found a .38 revolver in the car, and two live bullets, believed to be belonging to Abdul Aziz.

Khalid said post-mortem reports from the Sungai Buloh Hospital showed that Siti Rohana, 43, sustained two gunshot wounds in the head while Abdul Aziz, 64, sustained one, also in the head.

Contacted by Bernama , Khalid said the Toyota Caldina car they were travelling in belonged to Siti Rohana and that during the incident, Abdul Aziz, 64, was driving it.

The former Permatang assemblyman and Siti Rohana, 43, was found dead with gunshot wounds inside the car which crashed into the road divider at the North-South Expressway near Sungai Buloh here today.

Abdul Aziz, who was Permatang assemblyman between 2004 and 2008, served as the political secretary to the then Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abu Hassan Omar in 1997.

Siti Rohana was active in politics and was once a personal aide of Abdul Aziz, and run a bridal boutique in Tanjong Karang.
