Police will record the statement of PKR advisor Anwar Ibrahim to help their probe into the use of Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim's photograph on a banner for a ceramah held by the party last month.

Batu Pahat police chief ACP Ibrahim Mohd Aris said police had so far recorded the statements of 52 individuals including Johor PKR chairperson Chua Jui Meng.

Speaking to reporters in Batu Pahat, Ibrahim said police had also seized four banners from Semerah, Parit Sulong, Sri Gading and Rengit in Batu Pahat.

On Aug 9, while closing the Kembara Mahkota Johor programme, Sultan Ibrahim expressed displeasure over the use of his photograph on the banner.
