Tandek PBS Youth chief to PKR: Stop your lies
PKR should cease its lie that more than 1,000 BN members in Kota Marudu have jumped ship to join the opposition.
PKR should cease its lie that more than 1,000 BN members in Kota Marudu have jumped ship to join the opposition.
Such a lie only exposed PKR’s pathetic existence in Sabah, said Tandek Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Youth chief Christopher Mandut.
He said PKR’s claim that the BN members, mostly PBS members from five branches in Kota Marudu, had resigned en masse last weekend was a desperate attempt to hoodwink loyal BN members and the public.
“We monitored the gathering where the members purportedly resigned and submitted their forms (to PKR’s vice-president Jeffrey Kitingan). There were only about 100 people...many were children.
“No PBS chief has resigned,” he said of a news report which stated PBS branches in the Tandek state constituency of Kota Marudu–Talamason, Mogis, Pompodon, Pangapuyan and Paka were believed to have been dissolved or on the brink of collapse due to mass resignations.
“This is typical of PKR which is only good at hoodwinking the people,” Mandut said in Kota Marudu today.
Jeffrey was quoted as saying recently that the exodus signaled a
"tsunami" of BN members abandoning their leaders.
Mandut said the people of Kota Marudu were fully aware that PKR was incapable of serving the people's interests.
He said they wanted BN because only BN could deliver the goods to the people and protect their rights.
