BN Youth: 'Racist HM' must be punished

KSN: This woman is a principal and reaching retirement age. She must have worked for more than 30 years, must have taught thousands of pupils of all religions and races.

 For her to make such statements, insulting and derogatory, means she knows very little or nothing about our history, our country's evolution, especially about the Malays themselves including herself.

Probably her parents or her grandparents came from Indonesia just like the Chinese and Indians from China and India. A little research will help.

She also has no knowledge about the rich cultures of the Chinese and Indians and the roles and sacrifices they made in the economic development of our country.

It is said that her statements were a ‘misunderstanding’. Nothing can be more insulting. Her anger and hatred for the Chinese and Indians has just manifested.

She could not carry the burden anymore. All the result of nurturing fanatics among us. Umno should take all the credit. Congratulations.

DontPlayGod: If a non-Malay had uttered seditious racist statements, Perkasa and ‘Utusan Melayu’ would have screamed at the top of their voices, calling for the person to be immediately arrested under the ISA.

 But no, there is hardly any mention of this case by both these bodies, which proves beyond any doubt that they are racist organisations, approved by Umno, who has outsourced racism over to them.

Marvin Zindler: If racial remarks against the Malays are made by the Chinese or Indian communities, there will be hundreds of police reports all over the country. In the spirit of ‘1Malaysia’, no one should make racist remarks in this country. Shame on the headmistress. She should not be working in the Ministry of Education. Send her for re-education.

DOC: This racist HM was alleged to have told her student that the Chinese and Indians should go back to China and India. Ironically, a lot of local businessmen from these racial groups are taking their money and investing in those two countries. Many Chinese and Indians have been stomaching similar racist remarks over their years courtesy of Umno’s racist policies.

Large numbers of non-bumi are migrating of late, depleting Malaysia of cash reserves. Many Chinese and Indians have started sending their children overseas or are preparing them for an overseas education in order to provide them with a strong migration chance.

Now my question posed to this racist HM and also those racist elements in Umno and Perkasa is this: The government has already informed us that over 85 percent of the taxes collected are from non-bumi and oil reserves are depleting fast.

So, if these non-bumi stop paying taxes by migrating or investing overseas (notably in India and China); who is going to pay this HM's salary?

Hoon Lim: The radio programme touched on very wide issues, albeit the fact that some may not sound pleasing to certain quarters but those are the facts. The programme was also opened to the public to air their views, which would, if looked at positively, be very useful to the government who is really serious about bringing changes to our beloved country.

We are living in a border-less world today and it is not possible to shut out anything and everythging. Why not be more open and take criticism constructively?

These HMs are still around and no action is taken. Aren't these HMs ‘threatening national security’ and ‘compromising race relationships’ plus ‘inciting religious tensions’ ?

Why the double standards? The whole system in the government is so bastardised that it stinks and has become global laughing stock.

Gunena: Although I am English-speaking, I have been a follower of the ‘Jia Ma’ show every morning ever since I found out Jamaluddin is a Malay. He speaks very fluent and high standard Mandarin. His views are broad and his discussions are of intelligence.

These are the people that can help the country to bridge the racial divide and promote good understanding and harmonious living. What kind of people does the government intend to engage for unity and harmony? Ibrahim ‘Katak’ Ali?

Alexander Yuan Xjin Kai: This is way too funny for me. Jamaluddin is given an indefinite leave just because he allegedly offended the authorities with his remarks on sensitive racial issues?

So then how in the world could that racist bigot Riduan Tee Abdullah, with his repulsive comments’ in ‘Utusan Malaysia’, get off scot free? He's a thousand times worse than Jamaluddin.

PKR's target: Minimum RM4,000 household income

Sarawakian: RM4,000 per month per family is not such a lofty idea. If fact, if not for the sheer wastage that the BN had blown away since Dr Mahathir Mohamad became the PM - a wastage that cost the country billions - we would have easily achieved that target long ago.

And that include the 30% bumiputera equity. Just on corruption alone, the cost to us rakyat has been many billions of ringgit. Compared with Singapore at the time when they broke away from Malaysia and their income now, the picture is very clear.

We have been left way behind Singapore in terms of income. The irony of it is that we are blessed with so much in terms of national assets in the form of oil, minerals, agricultural land, beautiful seashores etc. The BN messed it up big time.  

Anonymous: The amount of income shall be immaterial once Pakatan occupies Putrajaya. With Pakatan, we can be assured there would be no rampant corruption, no ISA, higher religious tolerance, no open racism, no more little Napoleons, higher economic growth, more jobs, higher incomes, more freebies like WiFi, better welfare for senior citizens, better and more dedicated political leaders, less police brutality, better racial harmony, higher investor confidence, no more kangaroo courts and monkey judges, tourism industry will boom etc. Those are the intangibles that outweigh monetary incomes.

Ng Seng Tong: Nothing motivates the rakyat more than to see Pakatan parties coming together to make announcements collectively. There is power in actions of unity. On another note, Anwar Ibrahim's target is possible only if Pakatan parties practice meritocracy-competency and have people with character at the helm.

Sunnyd: Interesting figures. Will be waiting for the details.Until then. it’s just hot air.

Raikonen:

To me, Pakatan is already as ready as can be, under the circumstances that we are in. In my opinion, it is our duty as voters to pave the way for them to form the next federal government and cement the two-party system in Msia.

It is impossible for them to form a meaningful shadow cabinet under a repressive BN regime that is likely to place the shadow cabinet under extreme survelliance and possible persecution. It's a security risk that we can't take. The best strategy is to keep BN guessing. I will definitely vote Pakatan - with or without a shadow cabinet.
