Parti Keadilan Nasional will be running in 66 parliament seats, not 60 as reported in the newspapers. Keadilan media liaison Raja Petra Kamarrudin clarified that out of the 66 candidates, 63 are Keadilan members and the remaining three are members of DAP, PAS and PRM standing under the Keadilan logo. According to him, Pas is standing in 59 seats, DAP 47 and PRM 4. Petra made this comments at a Barisan Alternative press conference this morning in reaction to allegations that PAS were running in more parliamentary seats than Keadilan, a sign of its dominance of the opposition coalition. The Barisan Alternative will be issuing a detailed list of its candidates tomorrow.

Petra also mentioned that the Keadilan candidate for Hulu Rejang failed to receive the party authorisation letter in time and hence unable to lodge his nomination while Semporna, the party candidate withdrew after being "bought over" by the BN. There was also a mix up in the Pahang state seat of Damak where both Pas and Keadilan candidates lodged nominations. He confirmed that one would be pulling out from the race.
