Three men robbed a former Bukit Kepayang state assemblyperson of his sports utility vehicle (SUV) and RM6,000 near Taman Dusun Nyiur this morning.

Seremban deputy police chief Supt Mohd Yusoff Awang said the robbery occured at 7.30am after the former assemblyperson had dropped off his son at a secondary school in Ampangan.

"Suddenly, a Proton Saga with three men inside blocked the path of his Nissan X-Trail.

"Two men then rushed out and bundled the former assemblyman into the SUV and drove towards the direction of Kuala Pilah," he said when contacted today.

Yusoff said the men dumped the former assemblyperson in Paroi and continued towards Kuala Pilah.

Other than the SUV, the men also took about RM6,000 in cash and personal documents belonging to the former assemblyperson.
