vox populi small thumbnail 'They may even go on to say that all criminals are members of Pakatan next. You can clearly see what the process of ‘bonsification' has done to the majority.'

Pua aghast by Utusan's 'demonisation' of DAP

Matrix: Utusan Malaysia is doing more retarded racial flaming as usual. What kind of people can equate that a so-and-so suspect is a so-and-so political party member, and then generalise? Might as well say the suspects are all Indians so all Indians must be murderers? Or how about Canny Ong's murder? Are all Malays also murderers?

Let's throw everyone in jail then because everyone is related in some way to some organisations! So if one member of Amway commits a crime, let's throw all the Amway members into jail because they're all from the same organisation.

Our prime minister, as usual, keeps on praising Utusan Malaysia as credible and ethical. So much for ‘1Malaysia'.

P Dev Anand Pillai: Perhaps those interested should have a session with Hishamuddin Rais who will be more than glad to explain to them how the brains of the majority have been 'bonsified' just like the bonsai plant. This social engineering feat will take another generation to alter but the seeds of alteration have already set to germinate and it will not be long before the ‘bonsified' brains become able, bold and industrious again.

It is only the half-educated that we are now being forced to debate with - they who have been set and programmed to only think within the boundaries of that which their ‘programme installers' have allowed. We shouldn't waste time with these automatons, we have to engage the growing thinking society.

They may even go on to say that all criminals are members of the Pakatan Rakyat next. So you can clearly see what the process of ‘bonsification' has done to the majority. Poor people.

Rolls-Royce: Here we have our PM flying all over the place preaching and lecturing tolerance, acceptance and national unity when at the same time his party newspaper has continued spitting venom and hatred. I can't accept our PM does not know about this and has no control over it. Why are you wasting your time and money engaging public relations firms to boost your image? It is useless, PM.

The problems this country face are substantive and the rakyat are able to see more clearly now and separate the wheat from the chaff. No amount of spin or PR exercises can help you. Soon, even your Utusan will be history - no one will believe it and no one will read it other than racists and indoctrinated victims. This is one sinful newspaper.

Ferdtan: Suing Utusan Malaysia is good but may not have the desired effect as they, as a company, have deep pockets and the support of the establishment. It is better and more effective if DAP were to sue individually the person or persons who passed the comments, such as the former PKR Youth executive council member and now Perkasa member, Mohd Zahid Mohd Arip.

This not only tie them up with the courts but they would also have to fork out their own money to defend themselves. They may get financial support initially but knowing the type of people behind them, the money will stop coming in the end. This will deter them from further slanders against innocent parties without evidence.

Sodomy II: Anwar's bid to dismiss charge postponed

Albert: Frankly as a layman, I do not really understand why this case is continuing at all. It incurs a high cost for the taxpayers, which could be put to better use. I have heard the principle of ‘reasonable doubt' and once this is proven, the case is dismissed and the accused is released without his defence being called. Anwar's case is so clear cut. How can you have sodomy when there is medical evidence of non-penetration of the anus?

Who is in the best position to ascertain penetration of the anus but medical doctors? Definitely not engineers, accountants and certainly not the lawyers. Isn't this sufficient for ‘reasonable doubt'? But Anwar's sodomy case is being pursued aggressively by the Attorney-General's Chambers and this is allowed by our Malaysian courts.

Bapak Toyol: The police say they do not have the funds to investigate the Penan rape cases but here we see Anwar Ibrahim's trial - where it is well-known that he has been framed - going ahead at full speed. Who is this Umno government trying to fool? Umno, please do not treat your citizens as fools. The Attorney-General's Chambers is retarded and so is the judiciary. Please for heaven's sake, stop this stupid drama.

Kgen: Watch Umno's kangaroo court in action. Watch in excruciating detail as justice is ‘sodomised' by Umno's judges. The destruction of the judiciary eventually leads to a failed state. We are already 80 percent of the way there.

Maitreya: This sodomy case is causing the entire judicial system to be severely constipated. Just let this insane farce continue another few weeks when the whole thing explodes, as it inevitably will. Guess whose face will be covered with egg? Definitely not Anwar's.

Anonymous: This is trial by ambush. The ‘verdict' has long been ‘pre-programmed' in Putrajaya. The ‘part takers' in the court are there to show how skillful they are in ‘drawing rings around the arrow shot from Putrajaya'. Their future fortunes depend very much on how ‘convincing' their act is. Juctice is dead, I repeat, dead.

DOC: After a break, it looks like the ‘1Malaysia' circus which is located in the Palace of Justice is back in action.

Khir: Selangor gov't taking things too personally

Wira: No, Selangor can never afford to take things easy with Umno. Look how they stirred up racial issues in the state and how corrupt the previous administration under Dr Mohd Khir Toyo was. Khalid Ibrahim has to be on the alert all the time because he will never know when Umno is going to use the rakyat's money to buy the whole state for the party, just like what they did in Perak.

WanFair: Khir Toyo gets what he deserves - he is better off by going back to his dentistry practice. All the people of Selangor know him too well. Staying in a mansion of RM20 million and claiming that it cost much less. Even Dr Mahathir Mohamad knew that his house was smaller than Khir Toyo's and was not a match cost-wise.

How did he get so much wealth? Will the MACC ever investigate him? Maybe they are waiting for Pakatan Rakyat to be at Putrajaya before taking up the case.

Fence-sitter: Khir Toyo talks like a hero. Why did Selangor voters kick him out? Won't it be better for him to him to talk less? Selangor voters should know who is a better administrator - Khalid or the dentist. My vote goes to Khalid.

EGM on Oct 10 to oust Gerakan's Teng

Multi Racial: Gerakan is already a party of the past. MIC and MCA are on the way. Umno starting to make itself as party of the past. My advice to Gerakan delegates - don't waste your time and money. It is way too late to do anything.

Penang with Pakatan at helm is the best thing that can happen. We don't want BN back. Sorry, find some other solution maybe like quitting Gerakan and joining Pakatan.

Vijay: I have a better idea. Since the EGM has already been successfully convened and there would be a captive audience of at least 60 attendees, Gerakan should go the whole hog and dissolve the party.

The rationale for Gerakan's existence is no longer there and its role of being Umno's lapdog is being most ably served by MCA, in particular, Dr Chua Soi Lek.
