Muhd Taib breaks one-year silence
Former Umno information chief Muhammad Muhamad Taib has broken more than a year's silence to dismiss allegations that he was sulking or disappointed for not holding any important position in Umno or the government.

"I am observing (political developments). I am resting more now," he told reporters who caught up with him at an Aidilfitri open house at his house in Shah Alam last night.
Muhammad, who is Kelana Jaya Umno division head, was rural and regional development minister from March 2008 to April 2009 in former prime minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi's administration.
On his political future, the one-time Selangor menteri besar said he would let time decide that.
