Former Klang councillor Tee Boon Hock lodged a police report against Selangor exco member Ronnie Liu this morning at Shah Alam district police headquarters, claiming Liu had made a false report against him.

Therefore, he says Liu's police Aug 2 report against him  alleging misuse of the exco member's letterhead, was false.

Tee maintains that Liu, also Pandamaran Adun, had authorised him - as his special assistant at that time - to use the exco member's letterhead.

"Ronnie Liu has malicious intentions and political motives against me. He also used the Selangor state government machinery to kill my political career," said Tee in his police report.

'Sacking was political'

He added in the report that he was assigned to manage the Pandamaran state assemblyperson's service centre and during that time he had, in all matters of the service centre, signed on behalf of Liu.

"Ronnie would come to the centre once or twice a week during Saturday and check the files on his table. At that time he did not make any comments or give any advice to me.

"He was the one who appointed me but later lodged a report against me," Tee told journalists after lodging his report, displaying his appointment letter signed by Liu, effective April 1, 2008.

He revealed that the letter was not tendered at the party's disciplinary committee during the hearing because he had misplaced it. The committee later decided to expel Tee.

"Strong pressure from the public had caused me to be expelled by the party," he said.

Tee reiterated his allegation that the party polls was the real reason behind Liu's actions against him.

NONE He claims that he enjoyed strong grassroots support, that Liu ( right ) felt was a threat to his position in the DAP.

As proof he cited the postponement of the DAP Klang parliamentary liaison committee and DAP Klang youth wing Annual General Meetings (AGM).

"The Klang DAP parliamentary liaison committee was scheduled to hold the AGM on Sept 5 but was later postponed. Until now they still can't give a new date."

On the fracas at the Klang youth AGM last Friday, Tee said his supporters at the meeting outnumbered the others.

"They were afraid they would lose all their posts so they found excuses to postpone the AGM," he added.

The public row between Tee and his former boss first came under the spotlight when The Star headlined accusations that a Klang councillor - later revealed to be Tee - had abused his position by using Liu's letterhead and seal to obtain contracts totalling RM1 million for 20 companies, including one linked to his son.

DAP subsequently dismissed Tee from the party, and the Selangor government followed by giving the councillor the boot after MPK's auditors claimed that they had found abuses in Tee's support letters.

Tee has ,however, maintained throughout that he has been a victim of a “ conspiracy to remove me before party elections”.
