Multi-Racial: Whichever way you look at it, Lim Guan Eng is a much better politician and administrator than Koh Tsu Koon. DAP is a better and more responsible political party than Gerakan.

It is true there was once a Gerakan that was better, their leaders were better. But that has long gone. Gerakan had their chance, but they failed miserably. After 2008, things have changed and DAP has come out much stronger, while Gerakan has ended up as an irrelevant political party.

By calling Guan Eng ‘Hitler' goes to show Tsu Koon is the one who's desperate. Can someone tell him that the game is over?

Singa Pura Pura: Lim Kit Siang might be domineering and Guan Eng dogmatic, but political hyperboles such as ‘Hitler', 'frantic', and 'desperate' are totally undeserved - especially when they come from an ex-chief minister who is well-known for being a timorous soul and are directed at two Malaysians who have laid down their lives for this country without expectations of any pecuniary reward or other advantage.

What have these two men gained? A life of luxury and opulence? Or a seat in Kamunting and Sungai Buloh prisons? To borrow his own words, Koh's is being ‘unfair and insulting' to the millions of Malaysians who have voted (whether correctly or otherwise) for the DAP, Kit Siang and Guan Eng - not only in the last general election but tenaciously for decades.

Koh should psych himself up one last time and direct all his indignation at the true nemesis of multiracial Malaysia, namely, the Perkasarians, the ketuanan-ders, the Malaysian-2nders and their lofty hosts and sponsors. I dare you, Koh.

Ronin: Koh, maintaining the RM7 toll for the Penang bridge - was that the only achievement during your tenure as the chief minister? What about all the corruption during your service? List them down and let the public decide as to who's the actual dictator.

RubyStar: Koh, over 52 years of Gerakan and BN rule in Penang, nothing substantial came out except more racism, despotism and unfairness to other races. During your term as CM, you were only a puppet to the deputy chief minister and BN. Now you speak with a forked tongue and you still aspire to bring development and wealth to the Penangites?

Any responsible politicians would take full responsibility of the defeat in the last general elections of your party. You are making such a shameful comparison of LKS (Lim Kit Siang) and LGE (Lim Guan Eng) that you've made a big fool of yourself. LGE has been doing more good in the last two years than all you have done for the past few terms you were CM.

Anonymous: A sincere and transparent government must not simply give super-inflated figures that they can't achieve in real-life situation. What's more, it's not achievable even on paper.

If you think that the govermnment's Economic Transformation Prograame (ETP) is logical, please give figures or examples that can really support your views, figures and examples we readers can comprehend. Not like those who say Malays in Penang have been marginalised under Koh's time but when asked for supporting figures and details, there are still none forthcoming.

MW: Koh, even if one cannot agree with LGE and LKS's approach, at least they are consistent at all times and above-board. The same can't be said of you. The only thing you are consistent in is being inconsistent.

Look at yourself in the mirror before you criticise others, Mr Backdoor Minister, whose claim that he will not take on any post after losing will forever define him as a politician.

CarL: Koh Tsu Koon is absolutely right. Nothing anybody says to insult Koh will change that. Lim Guan Eng won Penang and promised a lot. So far what has happened? Tell us folk exactly what Penang has done in the last two-and-a-half years to be different other than the occurrence of racial slurs, infighting, and LGE's big talk.

SayaAnakBangsaMalaysia: After being swept from power in March 2008, Koh Tsu Koon still had the chance to salvage some dignity by bowing out graciously. Instead, he hung on, and now he is reduced to making pathetic statements like these for his Umno bosses.

His desperate attempt to characterise Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng as 'Hitler' sounds exactly like the frothing-at-the-mouth rhetoric of the Republican-spawned right-wing Tea Party movement in the US - who have not let their logical deficiencies get in the way of their loudly proclaiming that President Barack Obama is a 'communist Hitler', among other things.

Christopher Sydney: This joker who ruled Penang for something close to 18 years is now feeling the pain of being cast away by right-thinking Penangites since GE12. As chief minister, he was nothing more then a puppet to the federal government and a ‘yes' man to whatever Umno leaders demanded of him.

And now he can't stand it one bit all the good that Guan Eng has brought to the Penang. Muslims and non-Muslims has benefited greatly during Pakatan Rakyat's stewardship of Penang, and will continue to progress with their policy of clean and transparent governance.

Koh Tsu Koon's Gerakan can only dream of winning back Penang because that will never ever happen again. Penangites are a much more matured and intelligent lot in this era of Internet and globalisation, and they will continue to reject BN's corrupt regime till kingdom come.

Anonymous: KTK (Koh Tsu Koon), where were you when the school principal made the racial remarks? Where were you when the DPM said he was Malay first? Where were you when Ibrahim Ali said Chinese should go back to China?

You only have the guts to call LGE ‘Hitler'? What hope does Gerakan have under your leadership? Zero! By the way, where are the KPIs, Mr Backdoor Minister?

JBGUY: As a failed leader, rejected by the people of Penang, Dr Koh, you have no credibility. It seems you just criticise for the sake of criticising. By trying to equate Lim Guan Eng to Hitler, you have forgotten the greatest dictator that ever lived in Malaysia whom you worked for, Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Be honest and ask yourself whether you had the guts to speak out against all the unfair policies of BN while you were chief minister and had the gumption to stick to your principles at all times. To me, you were just a blade of grass in the wind. I am sorry but I strongly disagree with you on this.

SusahKes: Koh, let's do a simple comparison: When you were CM, the state ran deficit budgets for God knows how long. When LGE took over - and in just slightly over two years - he has produced a surplus for the state.

I really wonder what would happen if Pakatan had taken over Putrajaya. If they installed efficient leaders helming the nation - people like LGE - would we even need the fancy Idris Jala's sales pitch, ETP, GTP, etc? Would we need the fancy powerpoint shows?

The way I see it, LGE has shown us that simple common sense will do. So, Koh, if I can personally give you 50 sen, I would. I would ask you to go buy a kite. You know what you can do with it.
