Anonymous: Is this Muhyiddin Yassin's vote of confidence in what Raja Petra Kamaruddin has to say? And is this also an admission that he frequents the MalaysiaToday website? Muhyiddin really should resign, and let Raja Petra take over his post.

After all, he finds that as DPM, he cannot even take action against two racist principals. Clearly he is not up to the job.

One Malaysian: Muhyiddin, do not speak further as it will completely expose your level of intelligence and competency. If what Raja Petra says is true, then his statements about all other matters in this country - like corruption, the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, etc, should also all be true. You cannot be selective with the truth.

What this warning means is that while we want to establish a two-party system, it does not mean we have given a carte blanc to Pakatan Rakyat. It is clear that Pakatan has not given us the change that we wanted.

Chua and MCA are probably waiting for their big boss from Umno for approval before he and MCA dare to do anything. Otherwise he will have to retract (his statements) like the previous case.

If you look at MCA's records, what have they done for the race they claimed to have represented? Their rights have been diluted and all the past and present did absolutely nothing. In fact, most of them are only interested in enriching themselves.

Lim Chong Leong: Sorry, Chua Soi Lek and the MCA have only been all talk. MCA should petition the prime minister and DPM to take stern action and not stand by to hear Najib Abdul Razak's silence and Muhyiddin's denial of responsibility.

There is no need for demonstrations but stern affirmative action like getting the police to move into action or to hold the home minister responsible for their inaction.

Dr Mahathir leaves Melbourne hospital

Drama being essentially an interplay of light and dark, we can step back and see that Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Anwar Ibrahim created each other, just as father and son are mutually interdependent and interrelated.

Mahathir took on the role of Yahweh (the wrathful, vengeful deity), with Anwar serving as Yeshua (redeemer, reconciler, healer and unifier).

No matter how mean or malicious our fathers may have been, they remain our fathers - and they too have their moments of vulnerability. Fear not our fathers that we may mature as adults - but let's not hate them.

But, having said that, I admit Mahathir is among the biggest and most obstinate irritants I have encountered. Even George W Bush has the good sense to vanish from sight after eight years in the White House (perhaps his batteries were removed?)

Isa@1penyu: We can all agree to disagree on many matters but whoever it is, we should all wish them the best of health. As for those who wish others death, sooner or later bad things will start happening to you.
