your say ‘We don't want a ‘government for all’ if it only means 70 percent for bumiputera, 20 percent for ‘si sepet’ and 10 percent for ‘si botol’.’

MCA Youth flail against Umno ' tolerance' for extremism

David Yee: Year after year, MCA is NATO (no action, talk only). Talk is free, anyway. I am not the only one that's not impressed. There are plenty of us who will not believe in mere hot air and food crumbs. We only want a good government, regardless if the PM or DPM is a Malay or Chinese. We don't want a government for all if it only means 70 percent for bumiputera, 20 percent for ‘si sepet’ and 10 percent for ‘si botol’.

Susah Kes: First of all, this could be another wayang kulit ala 1987? Secondly, and if they are indeed genuine, then MCA should just get rid of its allegiance to Umno. No need to have year-in, year - out kung fu and tai chi shows to try and convince an otherwise jaded public who've had enough of MCA's gang.

And to the delegate who suggested that MCA can be a third force - dude, get your principles straightened out. The third force is no longer about race-based politics. If you still want to pander to a particular race for your future politics, you can forget it. The force will not be with you.

Now, you MCA Youth members - you go and tell your Chua Soi Leks, your Liow Tiong Lais and your Wee Kah Siongs, not to turn around the next day and issue statements like "newspaper misreported me".

Rolls-Royce: MCA, demand that DPM Muhyiddin Yassin withdraws his Malay-first declaration, for this is the mother of all racism now prevailing in Malaysia. If he refuses, Wee Ka Siong should resign his deputy minister post and MP seat. Ask some other MCA MPs to resign with you.

Next, the MCA must give a timeline to the government to punish the racist civil servants. If the government refuses again, more MCA MPs should resign. There is no need to shout and drama. If by election is called, MCA should stand as independents. You want to be the third force, don’t you?

Matrix: If you want to quit, then quit already! Why talk about all this nonsense? The Chinese cannot gain anything by being in BN. There’s no difference from being out of BN. Better stand outside as a poor man than stand inside as a rich dog. MCA has no backbone. It’s a disgrace to all Malaysian Chinese.

Geronimo: So MCA, despite all the rhetoric, continues to be in self-denial. Everyone knows that staying on in the BN is a bad option, and yet they continue to do so, backed by all the puny "threats".

If Perkasa can call a person like Namewee as haveing no "telur", just because the former refused to meet them when called to do so by a mob. I would describe MCA the same way, a party with no "telur". I bet you, one cough from any Umno leader and MCA will quickly issue a statement saying that it was the personal view of the speaker and not of the party.

This gathering in fact is making the Chinese more angry because it will be tantamount to do nothing. It will just provoke some hot heads in Umno and Perkasa to create unnecessary stress for the entire Chinese community with threats of violence.

Chua's sex scandal hot topic at MCA assembly

Anonymous: Khiew Yuh Jiuan, you have said what many of your comrades want to say, but have no courage to speak out. See, your statement was greeted by loud applause from the delegates. Bravo to you, Ms. Khiew. Shame to Senator Heng Seai Kie. If her husband cheated her like how Chua Soi Lek cheated his wife, how would she feel?

Hibiscus: In many countries, a leader caught in a sex scandal would have resigned permanently from public office, whether voluntarily or forced. Maintaining a high moral ground is necessary if a political party is to be able to do things effectively.

If the person is still keen to serve the public, he should avail himself to help out in social organizations, playing a backroom role only and not hold office. This is because his face has become a liability, having become a reminder of infidelity, betrayal to his spouse and children.

It is natural for one to perceive that any party that elects a person with a sex-scandal over his head is deemed to have condoned such behaviour. This should not be the type of example a good leader of a political party or of any organisation is prepared to give to the young.

Alan Goh Sen: Senator Heng Seai Kia, as a female, who probably is also a wife, are you saying that you are proud to serve under a president, who was caught with his pants down? You are a disgrace to the post you hold.
