New Straits Times and Star front paged Prime Minister Najib Razak's announcement that nine entry-point projects, worth RM30 billion in the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP), have been confirmed.

Malay newspapers

Utusan Malaysia and Berita Harian led with the launching of the ETP roadmap yesterday.

Utusan highlighted that Najib expressed his confidence in the ability of the rakyat to make the programme successful.

Sinar Harian gave prominence to BN Galas by-election director Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah's statement that the disparity in the educational qualification of the two candidates should not be an issue.

Oriental Daily News highlighted the PM telling the public and private sectors to act bravely to make a success of the ETP.

Sin Chew Daily highlighted the new nine entry point projects agreements worth RM30 billion signed at the launch of the ETP roadmap.

Nanyang Siang Pau reported that the government will implement the whistle blower act in the near future.

China Press said the government performed better according to the latest Auditor-General's Report, but there is still room for improvement, and reported that Najib stressed that he will monitor the ETP projects closely to ensure that they're transparent.
