PBDS crisis: Moggie disturbed by Masings move
Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) president Leo Moggie today said party information chief Dr James Jemut Masing, who yesterday announced he would contest the top party post at the coming triennial delegates conference, is "creating a leadership crisis" in the party.
He was quoted as saying this by a Miri-based
Sin Chew Jit Poh
reporter who managed to slip into the Miri Airport tarmac and talked to Moggie before he left by helicopter to Long Bemang in Ulu Baram this afternoon.
According to the reporter, Moggie, who is minister of energy, communications and multimedia, said Masing's decision to contest the president post will create "an unhealthy situation" within PBDS.
