Garena, an online gaming service provider and game content distributor, plans to introduce more world class online games into the Malaysian market, says Garena Online executive director Ye Gang.

He said the company planned to bring four top and high quality games into the local market such as League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth, GoKart and Blackshot by the first-quarter of next year.

"Our users in Malaysia are growing rapidly. We are planning to bring more world class games into the Malaysian market, going forward," he told Bernama after the official launching of Garena Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur today.

Garena, which has about two million registered users in Malaysia, would enhance its relations with cyber cafes in the country by providing them value-added services in order to expand its business here.

At present, about 200 cyber cafes in Malaysia are paid users of the company and Garena, a Singapore-based company, served 55 million registered users over 210 countries.

The company has more than 180 employees based in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines.
