The Parliament is proving to be "utterly irrelevant" as most of its members are "lazy, want an easy life and a good time in Kuala Lumpur", said DAP chairperson Lim Kit Siang today.
He criticised MPs for not being prepared to put in long hours to debate grave issues such as the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), dengue epidemic, Suhakam reports, educational issues and economic impact of the US-led war on Iraq.
