Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat has been discharged from the Universiti Sains Malaysia Hospital in Kubang Kerian where he was admitted on Thursday for a back problem, his press secretary Mohd Fadzli Shaari said today.

 

He told Bernama the PAS spiritual leader was allowed to leave the hospital yesterday and had been advised to rest at home.  

Nik Aziz, 79, was admitted to the hospital for a back problem he had been suffering from following a fall from a horse 70 years ago.  

Mohd Fadzli said the menteri besar had been asked to go for follow-up treatment at the hospital on Saturday.
