editor-in-chief Rejal Arbee believed that the issue of the photo should now be put to rest. The explanation in Berita Harian on Dec 8 and the article in the New Straits Times yesterday, he said, should be sufficient in denying the allegation by Harakah.

"Only people without brains would dare to make such baseless allegations," an angry Rejal told malaysiakini .

He added that the person in the picture which was said to be Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad was actually a government official who was having a conversation with a woman at the said function.
