Suhakam plans public talks on ISA
The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) will conduct a series of public talks, seminars and conferences soon to explain its review of the Internal Security Act (ISA), said a commissioner today.
When contacted, Suhakam's law reform working group chairperson KC Vohrah said it will be part of an awareness campaign to educate people on ISA and the recommendations that were made in its
report
which was released last week.
The working group will meet next week to start planning the public talks.
