Police are planning to question employees of Malaysia Airlines (MAS) after pornographic videos featuring people wearing its cabin crew uniforms surfaced here, an investigator said today.

Video compact discs (VCDs) titled "Life of an Air Steward" are being sold in the black market and still photos from the movie have been published by local tabloids, with faces of the characters blurred by the newspapers to hide their identifies.

"Once we have identified those in the porno CDs, we will call them for a statement," Zahedi Ayub, police chief of Sepang district, told AFP .

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport comes under Sepang's jurisdiction.

Zahedi said he had directed his officers to seize all copies of the video CDs.

A MAS spokesman declined comment today, saying it was already a police matter, but another officer has reportedly said that with computer technology, it was easy to superimpose faces.

"This is a cruel act. Innocent lives are going to be affected," Mohamadon Abdullah, MAS corporate services senior general manager, was quoted as saying by the Malay Mail newspaper. - AFP
