Pirate attacks off Sabah spark security fears
Malaysian security forces have heightened security measures off the coast of Borneo, a top marine police official said today, after pirates robbed two ships within a week.
"We have increased security to prevent robbery at sea," Isa Munir, commander of the marine operations force, told AFP . Police were working to identify and nab the culprits.

Last Thursday, masked pirates aboard a speedboat escaped with RM75,000 (US$25,000) and valuables after ransacking a supply boat off the west coast of Sabah, near Labuan island, the Star newspaper reported.
In an earlier incident on Feb 14, robbers made off with RM15,000 from a supply ship off the island.
