Is the MACC Taib's company number 50?

vox populi small thumbnail It's time the anti-graft body stops fishing ikan bilis in Pakatan River. It has a big, juicy White Haired fish from the BN River.

BMF names 49 Taib-linked companies worldwide

SusahKes: The longer the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) and PM Najib Abdul Razak wait to act, the more ridiculous it looks for the 1Malaysia Team that promised us, "People First, Performance Now".

Does Najib realise that his 1Malaysia has sprouted internal cracks in its foundation? Is history going to remember him as the last PM of Umno? He's got plenty of time to tweet-tweet, while the cracks are slowly, but surely, swallowing us up.

Putera Malaysia: MACC, it's high time you guys stop fishing for ikan bilis in the Pakatan Rakyat River. Here you have a big, juicy White Haired fish delivered to you on the table... except that it's from the BN River. Go or no go?

Ablastine: MACC do something about it? You’re kidding me! MACC is probably Taib’s 50th company. Pakatan, what the hell are you guys doing? Here is your atomic bomb, given to you for free, and you are keeping quiet about it? Come on, 95 percent of Sarawakians do not know what is happening. The onus is on you. Stop the infighting and get on with the politics.

Lim Chong Leong: Ministers from Koh Tsu Khoon to Nazri Aziz and from Hishammuddin Hussein to Liow Tiong Lai will say there is nothing here to investigate. The attorney-general and inspector-general of police are totally oblivious to the clamour. Taib who?

Fido Dido: The police and MACC must file charges against Taib so that his passport can be withheld by the court. The police must move to hold Taib in custody pending investigations. MACC, together with the police, must move in fast as it is now a global issue.

Najib must act fast to show the rakyat that he is serious in stumping out corruption. Najib must come out and issue a statement on this. All of Taib’s money and property must be frozen. Once found guilty, he must surrender all the illicit money and property to the state. Investigate all state leaders of Sarawak, especially George Chan

Ma'arip: Day after day, unpleasant stories about Taib are coming out, but life still goes on as normal as it can be, in Malaysia. No one in authority seems to be bothered at all. Come on Mr PM, MACC, police: prove me wrong!

Docs: So MACC, tidur lagi ? My suggestion is that MACC starts investigating Taib and let the investigation continue like the Teoh Beng Hock case, with no end in sight. If all goes well, Taib may die before the case comes to an end, just like what happened with Milosevic, the Serbian butcher. His trial against humanity went on and on until he died while his case was still going on.

While the MACC case is on-going, Taib can continue to plunder Sarawak and his family can continue living the good life; Najib can be happy that he continues to gets Taib’s support in Sarawak; MACC can try to look like it is doing something; and the rakyat, especially the Sarawakians, can continue getting plastered.

Teoh RCI: Two cops, two stories

2CTS WORTH: Can it be that those MACC guys tried to help TBH commit suicide? That way, he didn’t have to hold on to anything to jump down! This is not DIY. Perhaps the famous lawyer of MACC, Musa Razak of the DIY strangle expertise, can shed some light on this.

Alan Goh: The amazing thing is that this fella from the forensic investigation team, Mazli Jush, now speaks out to confirm that there was no sign or any mark on the window frame to indicate that the late Teoh Beng Hock had jumped out on his own from the 14th floor. Well, at least the truth is slowly, but surely, coming out.

Kgen: From the testimony of the cop, it is clear that Teoh did not climb out of the window. He was thrown out like a sack of potatoes. So much for the suicide theory!

HYL: I beg your pardon for my ignorance, but how come all these "evidence or findings" were not revealed during the coroner’s inquest? Fingerprints on windows, and now this finding that Teoh did not jump? So why did the prosecution team insist that he jumped to his death? Is it becoming a trend for our government servants and certain NGOs not to do their thorough investigations and studies before alleging something serious and even insidious?

Blogsmith: Justice James Foong said his reputation is on the line. Now let's hope he reads the comments here and let us remind him that if he doesn't want his reputation ruined, he’d better get to the bottom of all these contradictions, plus call those officers who were with Teoh Beng Hock to testify.

More 'mystery' DNA profiles found, but not recorded

Pakman: The longer this proceeding progresses, the more lies and blunders appear. If the prosecution witness Dr Seah Lay Hong refuses to answer, is it not the duty of the judge to caution her to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth? What a mockery shown by our judiciary!
