By producing items containing Anwar's DNA on them also does not prove anything also because who on earth would trust this corrupted regime and their manner of governance (Wain, 2009)? As all you know, Anwar's DNA can be planted on Saiful.

Chinese school rejects free copies of Utusan Malaysia

Don’t Play God: Anybody who wants to sponsor Utusan Malaysia to distribute to schools, colleges, public places, should have their heads examined. Of course, if these heads are fanatical and racist school heads, then that is understandable.

For those who want to sponsor Malay reading materials, they can always buy some good Malay language novels, karangan books and give to the poorer pupils. This will be cheaper to the businessmen in the long run.

Utusan Malaysia does not come cheap nowadays. Imagine having to pay around RM40 monthly just for one subscription. And they have to foot thousands of ringgit per month for the hundreds of subscription for each school. All for reading lies, hate, and racism. I believe some Malay businessmen will sponsor for the Malay schools, but for non-national schools, please keep clear of Utusan.

Etok: Anak saya bersekolah di Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Jasmin, Kajang, pada 21bh lepas bawa balik satu borang yang meminta pelajar untuk melanggan surat khabar Utusan Malaysia selama lima hari dengan bayaran RM10. Saya rasa Umno semakin terdesak sehingga sanggup meracuni pelajar-pelajar sekolah untuk tujuan buruk mereka.

Pants on Fire: Come on lah you guys, why the hell did you accept it in the first place? There are enough Chinese businessmen around to sponsor BM tuition for the schools. How could you guys even accept the newspapers in the first place, knowing how they run down the Chinese and Chinese-based parties? Pure Malaysian: Why the hell would the school refuse to accept? They should have just accepted the newspapers, and immediately sell them back to the recycle factory, and earn some money to pay for the electricity bill. Or can use it during renovation time, to protect the furniture from paint spillage.

                                            

Keturunan Malaysia: When I walked into a 7-Eleven outlet near my place one evening and glanced at a stack of unsold Utusan , the outlet's attendant looked at me and smiled. This prompted me to ask her why the outlet still wanted to sell Utusan , she replied that she only worked there.

Just rubbish and since they cannot sell they now got the cheek to want to give away free-of-charge. They won't change even with a "gun pointing at their heads". After all, they know that our hard-earned money will be use to bail them whenever necessary, so why should they care if they are able to stand on their own two feet or not.

As for the Star , my friends told me that they see some signs from them trying to arrest falling circulations by resorting to noticeable straighter reporting. I don't even give same a second glance.

HYL: Utusan doesn't care whether you read their papers or sell them. All they want is the number of circulation. By donating the papers, they can report that their papers are very popular because it will shows that the paper circulation has increased. It's another marketing gimmick and also to hoodwink the shareholders.

Red: Just accept the fact that Utusan Malaysia is here to stay. No amount of vitriolic and scathing comments will cause its downfall. Please remember there are always two sides of the coin: 1,000 people may despise Utusan but another 1,000 could be in love with the paper.

Utusan and other mainstream dailies could have suffered a drop in circulation but you would be in for a rude shock if you think profits have dropped. On the contrary, they are making more money as advertisement revenue has been stable, in fact increasing for some papers. They save costs by printing fewer copies. Therefore, those who think that boycotting the mainstream dailies help hasten their demise, better think again.

ACR: Utusan made a loss of RM26.17 million in FY 2009 compared to a profit of RM2.12 million in FY 2008. Its year-end is December, hence FY 2010 results must be in the midst of the statutory audit.

Logically, advertisers would be attracted to a paper with good circulation hence the premiss that circulation may have dropped - but that they are making more money from advertisement is prima facie nonsense.

Pants on Fire: You have to be an Indian to know how offensive and hurting it is to introduce this book Interlok in schools. And to all those Indian voters in Tenang who voted for BN and those Indians who are going to, you have no pride whatsoever. The MIC leaders have lost theirs long time ago. Have some pride, lah, Indians, reject the party which introduced this book.

Kgen: Interlok fits with Umno's notion of ketuanan Melayu perfectly, hence the reason for it being made a compulsory textbook. The sad fact is that more than half of Indians still want to vote for BN and help perpetuate Umno's racist rule.

KSN: This report clearly establishes the intention of introducing this trash to school children i.e to emphasise ketuanan on impressionable minds and at the same time degrading the Chinese and Indians.

For anyone or any one race in Malaysia or from any part of the world to insult and degrade the Chinese and Indians is a very tall order. It is nothing but a clear reflection of one's inferiority complex and insecurity vis-a-vis the Chinese and Indians whose cultures and civilisations goes back 5,000 years BC. To keep the book as part of the curriculum makes nonsense of 1Malaysia.
