Is Prime Minister Najib Razak saying that despite being in power in Pahang for 53 years, the BN only now knows the needs of the people in Kerdau? Stop treating us like idiots, Najib.

This is nothing but the usual slew of "instant noodle" projects from the BN. They will never learn despite their beating in the 2008 GE. The same old tune. Play the race and religion card to the maximum, divide and rule the people (with the help the Special Branch, police, MACC, EC and the media).

Other than that nothing has changed. The people continue to be cheated, lied to and abused by the ruling Umno/BN elite. Najib's "reform agenda" is just to recycle tried and tested policies like the NEP, ‘Ketuanan Melayu' and cronyism and wrap them in Apco-inspired trimmings like NEM, NKEA, NKRA and KPI to deceive the rakyat. The man has nothing new or genuine to offer.

Black Mamba: Najib, there is this constituency in Perak known as Sungai Siput previously held by your crony, S Samy Vellu. The new opposition MP, Dr D Jeyakumar, needs RM1 million to aid the constituents as Samy did nothing much when he was representing them in Parliament previously.

Could you please move your funds there quickly as you have said in Kerdau, the projects are for all races and not only during by elections?

Malaysians are no longer stupid like what the BN would like us to believe. They are never the reformists. There is no difference between them and those Arab leaders that are now being toppled, one after another.

In a matter of days, Muammar Gaddafi will see the end of his days in power. Likewise, the BN with the help of the Malaysian voters.

DontPlayGod: Chua Soi Lek, you said that the MCA is not in the habit of making promises that it cannot fulfill. Well said. In fact, the MCA dare not make any promises at all because it knows that Umno will not accept any requests or even appeals from MCA for the benefit of the Chinese community.

Umno has for the last five decades turned down almost all requests for the benefit of the Chinese community. The Chinese community has suffered in silence these past decades. And we have to thank MCA for this.

Titan: Needless to say, it is the government that is in a position to achieve a wholistic change towards a Malaysian identity which embodies the time-honored values that is just and fair, that upholds freedom and equality, that abhors communalism and chauvinism, and that is revulsed by bigotry and fanaticism.

We should be known as a people who will defend the weak against the strong, who will fight for the oppressed against the oppressor. This is the noble dream of every Malaysian. Fifty-three years on, it remains a dream.

How can it be open, liberal, fair, inclusive and transparent when you threaten to act against those who exercise freedom to choose and not be cowed by big bully Umno.

You choose to lie to yourself, thinking that the nation is behind you, supporting you all the way. Yet in reality, you use fear and intimidation, forcing government servants and rakyat to toe in the line.

The fact is, even government servants have no faith in you. If Umno is such an influential party, why feel the need to sow fear?

Even when 'helping' to campaign for the BN candidate, she demands that people focus on her and then - to demonstrate that she's really the boss - she tells the electorate to 'come look for me' if BN candidate Syed Ibrahim Syed Ahmad does not do anything, as if she were the prime minister herself.

ManJus: Has a liar ever admitted that he or she is a liar? It is just incomprehensible that BN could have given to this self-proclaimed FLOM (First Lady of Malaysia) the power to go after any of their assembly representatives or MP regarding their performance.
