The Felda management will continue to explain and rebut issues raised by the opposition.

Chairperson Mohd Isa Abdul Samad said it was the opposition's practice to raise issues to erode the confidence of settlers in the government.

"We explained the issues raised and alhamdulillah, the settlers are not easily fooled by opposition propaganda," he told reporters after closing a Koperasi Peneroka Felda seminar in Port Dickson today.

Isa said the opposition's attack on Felda was not something new as it had been going on for a long time and came as no shock to settlers.

"I don't deny there is a small number of settlers who are infuenced by opposition propaganda but most still have confidence in Felda as we have proven them wrong.

"For me and the management of Felda, it is not difficult to explain because we are always on the side of the truth. Rebutting lies is not a difficult thing to do.

"We will continue to clarify what really transpired in Felda," he said.

On allegation that over 1,000 Felda Sahabat settlers in Sabah had been marginalised, he said it would be investigated.

"Felda will take appropriate measures once it knows what really occurred. I may check out the problem myself and believe the management can resolve it as soon as possible," he added.
