Kelantan Menteri Besar Nik Aziz Nik Mat is unreservedly prepared to receive MCA leaders to discuss the banning of lottery tickets in the state.

NONE According to Nik Aziz’s press secretary Ahmad Fadli Shaari, the date and time of the meeting has not yet been decided, but it may happen as soon as this Wednesday when the PAS leader returns from a programme in Kedah.

“We welcome the willingness of MCA to meet with Tok Guru (Nik Aziz). He is open to it, no problem,” said Ahmad Fadli, who is also Kelantan PAS Youth information chief.

Ahmad Fadli also told Malaysiakini that he was informed by MCA representatives yesterday about the matter.

Yesterday, MCA president Chua Soi Lek said he wanted to meet with Nik Aziz to get clarification about the move by the Kelantan government to ban the selling of lottery tickets in the state.

He said MCA is not interested in meeting with anybody else aside from Nik Aziz to get the explanation from PAS, that has ruled Kelantan for the past 20 years.
