'This sort of filthy politicking can only be used by one party. I can't think of the word to describe how low these extremist politicians can go.'
Nurul lodges report on 'lewd cartoons' of her dad
Alan Goh: Voters can guess who are the idiots behind the lewd cartoons. They have no proper parental upbringing and cannot differentiate between right from wrong. They are used to the easy life, collecting rental income without having to soil their hands.
They are the cause of today's racial polarisation and massive corruption. By the way, don't expect too much from the Royal Malaysian Police.
A voter: This sort of filthy politicking can only be used by one party and we all know who it is. This is disgraceful and uncivilised. My goodness, I can't think of the word to describe how low these extremist politicians can go. Are they not God-fearing?
YB Nurul Izzah Anwar, keep going. Don't lose steam. We, the non-politically affiliated Malaysians, are backing you to rid our beloved country of these low-class devils of the lowest degree.
Anonymous_3f96: Gutter politics is now sinking further into sewer politics. It appears that certain parties are so afraid of Anwar that they are willing to use all means, including crass pornography, to eliminate him.
There is a good chance that such sewer politics will boomerang against the ruling elite. Independent voters may become so disgusted with sewer politics that they might vote for the opposition in the next elections.
Please don't assume that the average decent hard-working Malaysian is a fool. More than anything, he values simple human values and decency. This is something that is completely lacking among some elements of the ruling elite.
DNA: Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz, don't forget to protect the producers of these lewd cartoons under the Whistleblowers Act. Better still, put them under ISA for their own safety.
'Datuk T' can be protected by law, says Nazri
Nice link: "The Whistleblower Protection Bill only provides protection to informants who give confidential information to government enforcement agencies," Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Liew Vui Keong has been reported as saying on April 21 last year.
So clearly the Datuk T trio cannot be protected under the Act since they did not give the information to the government's enforcement agencies when they first revealed the information. In fact, they refused to give it to the police until the police report was made. This is yet another baseless remark by Nazri.
4th generation pendatang: Hello Minister Nazri Aziz, are you saying that if someone secretly videotaped another person having sex (rightfully or not) and then blackmailing that person for money or resignation, failing which the video will be distributed, this falls under the Whistleblower Protection Act?
Is this your perceived purpose of this Act? I'm speechless.
Abil: Why should these Datuk T trio be protected from prosecution for possessing, producing and exhibiting pornography? They're whistleblowers, Nazri?
Just because you want to implicate Anwar Ibrahim, you can't even see these guys flaunting the law and you want to protect them? What if it was not Anwar but me whose privacy they violated, videoed and exhibited, would you dare to give them protection?
Motonggotah: Nazri, how about if I secretly videotape you or someone who looks like you having sex and call the media for viewing the clip, then ask you to step down. Would you or the government put me under the Whistleblower Protection Act?
"V"endetta: One is really confused with Bolehland laws now. We were informed that the Datuk T trio had given a screening session to the media people and demanded that the politician and his spouse step down from public life.
1. Doesn't screening of pornographic material to public (including to media personnel) constitute an offence in its own right? Besides arranging such a viewing, doesn't it constitute a form of "distribution" of pornographic material.
2. Wasn't making such a demand to Anwar to step down kind of constitute a form of "blackmail"? So how can this be considered "whistleblowing"? If the datuks were genuinely concerned about the moral decline of the said politician, why didn't they hand the material directly to the police or to the parliamentary disciplinary committee.
Things are getting very confusing in Bolehland. One can just imagine what foreigners are saying behind closed doors about our legal system.
Christine Yong: Can someone please save Malaysia from these brainless leaders? From now on, many will try to do the same to all political enemies and be protected by the law, as Nazri said. He sounds like a numbskull!
I cannot imagine what he is teaching the next generation of Umnoputras. Shocking and shameless, this thick-skinned minister.
A 'misfit' to use laws to protect 'Datuk T'
Black Mamba: From this sex video revelation by Datuk Trio the rakyat can visibly see the involvement and protection of the government shielding the culprits from the arms of the law.
The BN government needs to win this general election convincingly with a two-thirds majority to plunder the nation further. Any loss of the government to the opposition means either fleeing the country on the next available flight to a safe abode or the prison might be their eventual domain. By all means, the battle cry had been to demolish Anwar and send its coalition parties into disarray as the retired and current politician have their lives and interest at stake.
Anwar may not be compassionate and magnanimous when in power as he had been badly grind to the ground by this incorrigible government and will certainly be vengeful unless he has seen the divine light of mercy through these years of hard pounding from his adversary and decides to take the forgiveness path. This is an uncertain direction which PM Najib Razak and his cohorts wouldn't dare bet on it.
Rick Teo: Why should a person reveal the nature of his bedroom antics? It is nobody business if the person wish to have a consensual sex with a prostitute. Why should he be answerable to anybody?
It looks like lawyer Baljit Singh Sidhu and law minister Nazri Aziz don't even know their law. From a legal perspective, is it a crime to have consensual sex? Why should the truth be revealed? Do you wish to reveal your sex life to all and sundry?
Anonymous_3f1f: If Umno/BN wanted to protect the three stooges using the Whistleblower Act, then you can't blame Anwar for saying the government is behind the dirty game.
Perkasa Youth chief quits
Survivor: Good riddance, Arman Azha Abu Hanifah. What political will to influence government policies are you talking about? In the first place, it is a sick joke to create such a damned group for no useful purpose other than to sow national discord amongst the people. It should not even be a NGO, let alone a political party.
Supercession: Arman Azha, to apply Perkasa and Umno's logic, abandoning Perkasa makes you a traitor to the Malay race and disrespectful of the federal constitution. Don' play with fire, because the Malays might not be able to control themselves when they're angered.
