Malaysiasakit: Nazri, surely you know the famous Malay proverb "siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas". By saying you need to clear BN's name via an RCI, you are implying that BN indeed had a hand in this fiasco.

Otherwise, why push for an RCI when the sex act involves two consenting adults. No laws have been broken except for the syariah law. Wouldn't it be appropriate to lodge a report with the Religious Department?

A word of advice. BN will lose credibility even amongst the uninformed if it pursues this matter. It would be wise to walk away and cut your losses.

Proarte: Pakatan Rakyat must not be seen to be defensive on this matter. It will have a far ranging effect on its credibility. Who else would be best placed to identify the person in the video? Do we trust the police or the judiciary to be fair?

It seems to me that the RCI would have the most credibility. This is not a small matter as Nazri says. It involves the opposition leader who aspires to be PM who has abused Islam to the hilt for his political advancement and prestige.

That is why absolving Anwar in this sordid saga is of paramount importance. Raja Petra Kamarudin in his blog seems to imply that the person in the video was a younger Anwar some years ago, which would tie in with the Thai connection to the video production. It was apparently not filmed in March 2011.

Multi Racial: Nazri is playing stupid trying to make both the VK Lingam-judiciary problem and Teoh's death to be in the same category as the current sex video. In the case of Lingam, it involved the bribing of top judges. As for Teoh, it is about the death to a witness in an MACC case.

This sex video is about the Datuk T's trio secretly taping someone with the intention to blackmail an opposition leader, his family and his party. These three have broken the law not only screening porno publicly, but also blackmailing. They should be charged immediately.

As to who is the best person who is qualified to confirm whether the character in the video was Anwar or not, obviously Wan Azizah is the best person and the only person that matters. The rest is none of their business.

If there an RCI initiated then it should not be the content of the video but more so on whether who were the mastermind and who were involved, apart from the three, in this despicable act.

Nicholas Lim: Nazri, why not set up an RCI into illegal immigrants getting MyKad in Sabah? Don't you think that is by far a more important issue for Malaysians than your fixation on a sex video?

Furthermore, I would highly suggest you refer the matter to respected Muslim jurists and ulamas before you comment on the issue again. You are a Muslim after all, no?

Nazri, I don't know how you get you law degree but I am certain that you are not a qualified lawyer based on your acts over the years. I am also flabbergasted that Nazri considered the VK Lingam and TBH cases as small cases. Of course, his small brain cannot think anything beyond a porn movie.

Michael Angelo: This is the biggest joke Umno/BN can ever come up with. An RCI to identify a porn actor, whoever he is. Nobody is interested in who the actor is except Umno in its bid to try to bring down DSAI (Anwar).

Don't waste taxpayer's money. If Umno wants to pull down DSAI, use their own money.

Lim Kuan Keat: I didn't know you now need to have some sort of certification to identify a porn actor. So how does one get "qualified"? Will they need to regularly watch porn and be familiar with the actors' mannerisms or sexual acts? Is there a course in porn actor/actress identification?

Ttloo: Nazri is right that Wan Azizah is not qualified to identify as she is the spouse who had to defend her husband at all cost and PKR image. It is clearly a case of conflict of interest.

The government and the opposition should agree to appoint foreign experts to verify the actor and put an end to this ugly episode without involving the RCI. Besides sex, what other sensational news involved Malaysian politicians? Corruption, which is the most important issue that needs an RCI. Push for it.

Phra Ong Chao: When the court needs to identify the naked body of a man, who else can perform that task if not the wife? This is because the legally married wife who has had children with the man is the only one whom the court can be sure has seen the naked body of that man.

Of course, some will say Anwar should strip to prove he isn't the man in the sex video, but it is the accuser who bears the burden of proof. Why should the accused be subject to humiliation every time someone accuses him of something?

If so, anyone can accuse Nazri too. Must he strip?
