Taib: Pakatan not qualified to run a state

Atan-Toyol: Sarawak Chief Minister Abdul Taib Mahmud said Pakatan Rakyat will bankrupt the country if they rule. Isn't it common knowledge that the state has remained poor throughout his regime?

Pakatan can never bring Sarawak to lower economic level than where it already is. Any change can only for the better. Taib, don't point fingers at others for being liars as three other fingers are pointing at you.

Because Sarawakians are not stupid, as Taib has admitted, they will be making a great paradigm shift this April 16. They will, for the first time, cast their votes with great pride and self-confidence, and without fear. They will be claiming back their rights from Taib who has robbed them of their self-worth.

Hidup Rakyats: It appears that the Sarawak CM did not read at all. Those states under Pakatan's grip are the best performing states in Malaysia as ranked by the National Audit Department. This is because Pakatan states work for the rakyat and not for their own pockets and those of their families and friends.

Lim Chong Leong: Taib talks like he is the most capable to run the state. But it turned from the richest state into the poorest, while making him the richest CM in the world.

He says Pakatan cannot run the state but have you seen Penang, Selangor, Kelantan and Kedah? The state coffers and local authorities are showing positive balance sheets. If this is not good governance, what is?

Joker: Taib, you are a disgrace to your family by being such a shameless hypocrite. You have ruled Sarawak firmly for decades and the result?

Sarawak is the state with the most natural reserve but it is among the poorest, while you and your family are the richest in Malaysia. Is this what you called being qualified to run Sarawak?

Kutty: Taib, when we hear these arguments from BN for the very first time, we gagged. On the second time, we felt a strong wave of nausea sweeping over. On the hundredth time, you hope that we have become numb and we will just take whatever you tell us at face value, just to shut you guys up if anything else.

Okay, so Pakatan can't form the government. And that they will bankrupt the nation, yada, yada, yada. But the bottom line is, we still want you to go. It's that simple. Comprende?

SMC77: Taib is running out of ideas to attack Pakatan. Going by his logic, all candidates should be as old as he is and as corrupted as he and his associates. Essentially, Taib is discriminating against young and progressive candidates.

The 100-day reform plan offered by Pakatan is far better what Taib has done in Sarawak in the past 30 years. If the rakyat are given a choice, why would the rakyat opt for the fail policies offered by Taib?

Taib will shit in his pant if he has the opportunity to see how Pakatan governs Penang. Nobody really miss Gerakan anymore.

Wira: "You're not qualified to run a state." That was the same message BN sent to Penangites in 2008. The sentiments of most Penangites then were just to deny BN two-thirds majority so that the tyrant might be kept in check.

However, the resulting tsunami surprised them too. Today, upon reflection, the voters are glad that they had cold storaged every Gerakan and MCA Adun in Penang.

Chipmunk: Taib, do you really care about the rakyat or just want to 'represent the people' for your ill-gotten gains?

Let's see if Pakatan can reform in 100 days compared to your embezzlement of wealth in 30 years. Look at Penang and how in two years the state government made surplus for the state where else you made the rakyat poorer.

This is going to be your last election so after that you can go and enjoy a quiet life with your new young wife (that is, if Pakatan don't put you behind bars).

Sarwaka Voter: Yes, I agree Pakatan is not qualified to run a state in a corrupted manner like the way Taib does.

However, Pakatan is qualified because they have no experience in stealing, cheating and corrupting like what you have done to Sarawak for the past 30 years of your rule and 50 years of BN rule.

If Pakatan can rule successfully the two richest states in Malaysia - Selangor and Penang - it's crystal clear that Pakatan has the ability to rule Sarawak effectively.

Taib, you can't fool us all the time. We voters are now well-informed not only by the alternative media, but by our sons and daughters who are working outside Sarawak.

Taib says he can't find any successor, but the choice of successor in a democratic country belongs to the rakyat. If Taib cannot find a successor, the rakyat will find one for him in this election.

BigBens_KL: Did anyone notice his mouth was foaming when he was talking? This is a sure sign of defeat and fear. What qualification is Taib talking about? You need to have a filthy rich daugther to run the state?
