Barisan Nasional Youth (BN) wants police to complete investigating the Carcosa sex video implicating a top opposition leader.
Its chairperson Khairy Jamaluddin ( below ) said that the investigation had taken too long and could lead to speculation.
He said that it was time to reveal the truth to give justice to the parties implicated with the video.
"I don't understand why police are taking a long time to investigate the case because it has been two weeks.
"Please hurry up so that justice can be done to those implicated including BN that has been accused of distributing the video," he said at a programme in Kampung Machang Bubuk in Penang today.
Last week, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mohamed Nazri Aziz proposed setting up of a royal commission of inquiry to investigate the sex video exposed by the trio known as 'Datuk T'.
However, the opposition rejected the proposal with DAP chairman Karpal Singh saying emphasis should be given to the police investigation.
Khairy said that he was not putting pressure on the police who have the expertise but hope that it could be completed fast.
"If there are still people dissatisfied after investigation is completed, we can set up the royal commission to ensure that justice is served."
