Tuah PJ: I don't get it. Is Shazryl Eskay Abdullah of the Datuk Trio some sort of an angel for the police to believe that he retrieved the watch from the room where the sexcapade took place? Is the watch in the video? If not, what is it in the video to tie the watch to the person?
The watch could have been stolen from Anwar Ibrahim or Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, or the watch could have been given as a gift to Eskay. Or Anwar could have given to his wife and she must have kept it somewhere but only to realise it is missing when it appears suddenly in Eskay's hands.
There is no connection between the watch and the video. After all, Eskay was quite close to Anwar previously.
Gg: I was sceptical at first when Anwar alleged that Hishammuddin Hussein and Umno were behind this, but it is now confirmed beyond doubt this is just a sandiwara .
If you've got a video, all you need is to prove that it was Anwar. The watch has got nothing to with the screening of a blue film to public.
If the watch belonged to the prime minister or Hishammuddin, would the police then charge them? This is beyond dirty politics.

It's like you have a lot of underwear, and if one day, your maid decided to steal it - I am sure you would not be aware which underwear of yours went missing. The interesting part now will be how the police prove that the watch Eskay hands to the police is the same watch in the sex tape.
Lulu: If Anwar and Wan Azizah did not insist that the watch is with them, who is to say when the Datuk Trio took the watch from them?
Alas, Anwar and wife said it's with them, so it better be with them or else it will ‘terbongkar' that they lied about the watch. While it still does not mean that he was the man in the video, his credibility will be open to question.
Compass: Why should the watch company tell the police the name of the customer who bought the watch?
KBE: How can the police know for sure the watch 'stolen' by the women in the video is an Omega? Can anyone see clearly from the video footage that it's an Omega? How did the Datuk T manage to retrieve the watch from the women?
Anonymous_3f5f: Two things that the police need to prove. First, how do you prove that this Omega watch is the same as the one seen on the sex tape? Secondly, how do you prove that Eskay did not steal the Omega watch from Anwar?
So, even if Eskay handed Anwar's Omega watch to the police, it's useless, unless the police can confirm that's the same watch in the sex tape.
Lim Chong Leong: What this means is that they are trying to fabricate documents on the watch purchase and will also be planting some ‘Male Y' DNA on the watch.
Fz2379: Why would Anwar himself admit in the first place during the press conference that the 'stolen' Omega watch is with his wife? Either Eskay or Anwar is lying. Wan Azizah could not produce the watch during her press conference and now it appears that the watch is with the police.
Or could be the video have been a set-up by the Singapore/US intelligence since they claimed Anwar walked into a trap last year in regard to the sodomy case. Eskay himself said he only realised of the video existence while retrieving the watch.
Ghkok: Frankly speaking, the producers and organisers of the video have lost. A hundred thousand people on Facebook have said that it is not Anwar. Our friends, relatives, neighbours, colleagues, ex-colleagues, teachers, and even our enemies, have all said that it's not Anwar.
In fact, most people said that they don't even have to watch the video to know that it's not Anwar. The tyrants have lost. They pursue this case only to continue to abuse, intimidate, harass and oppress Anwar. They have done this for the last 12 years.
They grabbed him, took him in a truck, tortured him in prison, dragged him through kangaroo court, imprisoned him for six years on trumped-up charges, and finally the charge was overturned. He was declared a prisoner of conscience by Amnesty International in 1998, yet he doesn't give up.
He is a victim of BN, just like the hundreds of thousands of people in the interior of Sarawak. He will free them, and they will free him, from the oppression of the tyrants
Avatar1: Even if the watch belongs to Anwar, does that make him the man in the video? From what I guess, the trio may have bribed anyone from Anwar's house workers to steal and claim it belongs to Anwar. This is because the trio wants to police to do a DNA test based on the sweat found on the watch.
What the police should do is to get the call-girl in the video and question her. These are all efforts to tarnish the name of Anwar. It looks like in this country, you can't even dream to become a PM before the BN moves in to character assassinate you.
Manjit Bhatia: It is now April 11. The video was screened by the three Umno datuks on March 21. If the Malaysian police were so reputable, efficient and professional, why has it taken this long to come nowhere near determining:
a) the owner of the watch
b) who made the video
c) who was the man in the video
d) who uploaded the video to YouTube and where
Any clues, anybody?
