vox populi small thumbnail 'The fact that Najib is bribing voters with this kind of money in every by-election, and now the Sarawak state election, proves that he condones corruption.'

Najib ressurrects dying Sri Aman hospital on cue

Atan-Toyol: No wonder corruption is 'rottenly' rampant in Malaysia. It starts from the head. What the 1Malaysia PM is doing here is bribing the small entrepreneurs to vote for BN.

The money doesn't come from the BN. It comes from the rakyat, from taxes collected from them earlier. The voters are stupid if they think this is BN money that is being splashed here and there. Once corrupt, always corrupt.

SusahKes: "We will resolve more problems... but you should please resolve April 16 first, can?" This must be the modified version of "I help you, you help me" .

Freemsia: This is typical of Najib to be doing this. His 1Malaysia slogan is just all political rhetoric. The fact that he is bribing voters with this kind of money at every by-election, and now the Sarawak state election, proves that this PM condones corruption. He is no different than Taib Mahmud.

Bil: DPM Muhyiddin Yassin condemns the way incumbent Sarawak CM Taib Abdul Mahmud is being attacked by Pakatan Rakyat's campaign machinery. "They did this with no sense of respect, no consideration and sense of appreciation," he said.

But when Taib ‘Pek Moh' Mahmud took over the NCR (native customary land), did he feel the same?

Confused: Why is our DPM asking the people to respect a person who has plundered and robbed the people's money for over 30 years?

People Power: Wah! Baru PM Najib Razak nampak Stutong community market - RM300,000. Taib Mahmud tidur kah? Dia duduk di Kuching tak tahu kah market ini panas? Drama demi drama BN. Apa Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya buat? Mana pergi Suruhanjaya Pencegah Rasuah Malaysia?

Cannon: We can take it as a sign, an omen, if you will. The days of the Umno-BN regime are numbered. The Umno-BN regime, in singling out Christianity for special treatment while leaving the rest of the other religions alone in Malaysia, has shown it is anti-Christ.

Lately, it has been using Christian cabinet ministers to compromise the church in an attempt to divide and weaken the church and ultimately to gag it from proclaiming the gospel.

As Christians, we forgive this regime for the insults, hindrances and offences committed against our Christian community. We submit our circumstance to God and let Him be the avenger. Revenge is His to repay for desecrating his Holy Bible and for blaspheming the Holy Spirit calling God's Word "smelly" .

Chopper crash: DPM's aide shocked but unhurt

JusticeNow: This the proof of how poorly developed the basic infrastructure of Sarawak is, that they need three to four helicopters to ferry the VVIPs around for the campaign. I am sure it is paid by the rakyat.

It also shows the tremendous challenge the opposition faces in campaigning with their limited or non-existent war chest. Let us all chip in and build a better Malaysia for everyone.

Muak: Clearly, this is a blatant abuse of taxpayers' money. The Sarawakians and all Malaysians should ask this question: Why aren't the opposition members given money to campaign? Why only BN?

If the BN fellows can dig their dirty hands into public coffers, the battle will always have an unfair advantage. So wake up, Sarawak. You need to kick BN out of the state. There's no two ways about it.

The chopper incident is a sign that BN's days in Sarawak are numbered.

Mad scramble for Tupperware mars PM's do

Dood: I thought that election handouts are bribes ? So what are they waiting for now? Not only are they bribes, but judging by the people who might have gotten hurt (or did get hurt) in the mad scramble, shouldn't this be considered a hazard?

Whose fault will it be when a young child or an old person gets seriously injured or even dies in the mad rush?

Fairness for all: BN is really shameless. They know that their ceramah will not attract many people like the opposition ceramahs so they use taxpayers money to throw in goodie bags.

Don't they realise they are only fooling themselves as people come for the goodie bags and not to listen to their lies? If BN has guts, fight fairly; do not bribe voters, then you will see the true picture. But then BN does not know the meaning of fairness.

Yeap Cheng Liang: How sad. The 'supporters' don't even know why they are there. They were just transported there to make up the crowd. As token for their support, they are promised hamburgers and goodie bags.

Pure Malaysian: It's so sad seeing BN candidate Dr Sim Kui Hian contesting at this wrong time. He should have contested long ago when he could actually win under the BN flagship easily.

But now, with the wind of change, it is sad to see him, being such a noble doctor and well-respected man, embroiled in this Taib-BN show. I would rather still have him as my cardiologist, than be another puppet of BN.
