The Kelantan Barisan Nasional (BN) is coming up with a more realistic manifesto for the people for the coming general election, said its chairperson Mustapa Mohamed.

He said Kelantan BN would not promise what it cannot fulfill after victory but will offer something more attractive than PAS.

"The manifesto will lean towards the slogan ' pemimpin disenangi, parti disenangi ' (likeable leader, likeable party) whereby we would like to achieve a new Kelantan which never happened since PAS took over in 1990," he told reporters after presenting computers contributed by SME Bank, here today.

Also present were SME Bank managing director, Mohd Radzif Mohd Yunus and Kuala Balah assemblyman, Abdul Aziz Derashid.

Mustapa said the people of Kelantan needed to evaluate the promises made by PAS, such as a monthly contribution of RM100 to senior citizens and execution of several development projects such as a stadium for women, which had yet to materialise.

"We will tell the Kelantanese people what PAS has failed to do, and in our manifesto, BN will explain what we are capable of doing for them," he added.
