Petronas Dagangan to spend RM400m for new petrol kiosks
Petronas Dagangan Bhd will invest up to RM400 million to set up between 30 and 50 petrol stations, annually, over the next five years, said its Retail Business Division senior general manager, Izuddin Husaini Mohd Yusoff, today.

Currently, there are 954 stations Petronas Dagangan petrol kiosks nationwide, including four new stations opened in the current financial year ending March 31, 2012.
However, Izuddin declined to comment whether natural gas would be sold at the new stations.
“All the new stations will be equipped with the ‘Kedai Mesra’ convenience stores with the size depending on the need of the station and its surroundings,” he told reporters after presenting prizes to 153 winners of the ‘The Road to Rewards - Kedai Mesra’ contest in Kuala Lumpur today.
Petronas Dagangan currently operates more than 600 ‘Kedai Mesra’ convenience stores alongside its petrol stations, of which three provide drive-thru service.
