COMMENT Sometime in mid-May Western Europe experienced an outbreak and incursion of the e. coli bacteria into the food chain. This bacteria is of the powerful O104:H4 strain that could kill humans. Sure enough since its attack 27 people have died with close to 3,000 sickened.
