Pak Lah on two-day Thai visit
Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will make a two-day official trip to Thailand from tomorrow, the information department said today.
The visit, at the invitation of his Thai counterpart Korn Dabbaransi, will further enhance close bilateral ties and cooperation, it said.

Abdullah would seek to review issues of mutual concern with the leaders of Thailand, the department said in a statement issued to the official Bernama news agency.
To meet Thaksin
He is scheduled to meet Korn and Interior Minister Wan Muhamad Nor Matta and call on Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.
Among matters to be discussed are cooperation along the Malaysia-Thailand border, trade and investment, agriculture and tourism as well as transportation issues, the statement said.
Regional and international issues of mutual concern would also be discussed, it added.
Abdullah will take over from Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who has pledged to retire after an Organisation of Islamic Countries summit here in October after 22 years in power. - AFP
