Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Nazri Aziz will reveal tomorrow whether the Royal Commission of Inquiry Report on the death of political aide Teoh Beng Hock will be made public.
Nazri said that a press conference at Parliament will be held for this purpose tomorrow at 2.30pm.
“I will make my announcement then and cannot reveal anything now,” he told Malaysiakini .
Rumours abound on the possibility that the announcement will be made tomorrow and the report will be sold to the public on Friday.
Teoh, 30, died from a fall after he was detained overnight for questioning at the Selangor Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission office in Shah Alam on July 16, 2009.
The circumstances of his death resulted in an inquest, where coroner Mohd Azmil Muntapha Abbas returned an open verdict.
This resulted in an RCI being formed to look into the cause of his death and also to review MACC interrogation procedures.
