The BN election machinery at all level has long been activated for the general election.

Information chief Ahmad Maslan said BN leaders should meet people at the grassroots as the general election is fast approaching.

"The signs are already there although we may not know them. We are prepared for it," he told reporters after closing Terengganu BN Convention 2011 and launching BN election machinery in Kuala Terengganu today.

The BN convention was a good way to strengthen the party's election machinery and bring impact to Terengganu BN.

The 5P concept

Ahmad who is also deputy minister in the Prime Minister's Department said BN should emphasise the concept of sale and marketing to be close to the people.

"We promote BN to the people with our programmes as they are our most important customers. Our competitors are PAS and DAP."

He said it could be implemented using the 5P concept or product, price, place, promotion and people.

Terengganu BN Convention adopted 13 resolutions to the party, government  administration, win over the people and the general election.
